A search result is an object created by BSCW from the list of "hits" returned by a search engine in response to a query (see 4.10).

The content of a search result object may be edited as a whole by:

• adding another section of the list of "hits" generated by the search engine;
• repeating the search process with an identical query (as an update) or with a modified query, e.g., to narrow the search down.

To keep only a few "hits" of a Web search for future use, you may select and copy them to your clipboard and then paste them to a folder of your choice (see 4.10).
