3.3 ActionsIn BSCW an action may be triggered by selecting a menu entry or clicking the button that represents the action or by choosing the action from the context menu of the object involved. Menu entries and buttons may take four forms: 1. In the top menu bar File New Document 2. 3. as a link in the navigation bar: <Your user name> 4. as an icon in the object´s entry: e.g. The actions triggered by buttons like in 3. and 4. are straightforward: open and display a specific page or download a document.
