With the Web interface you have to use a Web browser to get access to your workspaces and documents. With WebDAV you can open your BSCW-documents from Windows Explorer and, for example, the corresponding Microsoft Office application will start automatically. After reading or editing the document you may save it immediatly in the workspace of your BSCW server without saving it locally and then uploading it!
